"The children who attended the summer reading program were enthralled and even the adults were laughing as we remembered back to our childhoods." Beth Pugh, assistant branch director.

Elmont Author Night

"Shelly's storytelling engages both students and parents alike as she weaves a lesson to be learned through colorful stories from her childhood. Her enthusiasm is contagious and people cannot help but be mesmerized by her actions as each story unfolds. Her gift of sharing a story is truly evident in each presentation."
Annie Diederich, Principal Elmont Elementary School
Logan Summer School Program

"Shelly not only "told" the story, she "visually illustrated" the story by providing the drama involved in the words. As I watched the audience, I was amazed at the way she was holding the interest of ALL of the students, not just a particular age group. I must say, as adults, we were totally caught up in the experience, also. Shelly is a natural teacher with a talent for writing and presenting her stories." Craig Carter, Asst. Director Curr./Personnel
News and Reviews
Jefferson Elementary, Great Bend Kansas

“The storytelling program was very entertaining!! Ms. Simoneau did an excellent job telling her stories, while getting the students actively involved.” Mrs. Reed, Jefferson 3rd grade teacher.
"She is not great she is amazing! I had the opportunity to hear her share her book through storytelling at Logan Elementary and the Meriden Library. Two of my own children got the chance to see her. They loved her, I loved her, and everyone else loved her. You should of seen the children at Logan when she began to run around the gym to describe how it was when the cows were chasing her, or the children in Meriden when she talked about how long the snake was she saw. I would recommend Shelly to speak to any age group about her stories. She is fun, energetic, and just a wonderful person." Christine Ketron, Rochester Elementary

A Single Beam of Light-  - Let your light shine!
You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. -Matthew 5:14-16
